Operating and Degree-Granting Authority - Online System

Orientation Sessions

New institutions planning to operate and seek approval through the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) will be expected to attend an Orientation Session prior to submission of application material. You are only required to register once for your institution. If you are sending multiple people to attend the orientation, please indicate it in the "Number of attendants" box.

NOTE: These orientation sessions are for institutions seeking authorization to operate in Illinois and the approval to offer degrees at the associate degree level and above. There are no orientation sessions scheduled for non-degree institutions (i.e., private business and vocational schools, or PBVSs) at this time.

The orientation sessions are held at the IBHE office at 431 East Adams, 2nd Floor, Springfield, IL 62701.
