Reports & Studies

The Board undertakes a variety of regular and ad hoc studies to support policy decisions, to illuminate critical issues of importance to the state, and to meet statutory requirements.

Broadly speaking, these studies examine issues related to students, faculty, academic programs, and access and diversity, as well as a number of regular reports to the Governor and General Assembly.

Reports may be generated by staff on a regular cycle, such as the Higher Education Annual Report and the Underrepresented Groups Report, or be the product of special Board committees, such as the Committee on Affordability or the Priorities, Productivity, and Accountability Committee.

In addition, studies or reports that relate to budget and fiscal matters, academic affairs, legislation, or state grant programs may be found elsewhere on this website.
