Illinois Baptist College officially closed on July 1, 2020. Illinois Baptist College was a small Baptist college located in Washington, Illinois. Illinois Baptist College, originally named Illinois Missionary Baptist Institute, began in 1964.
According to the college’s catalog, “with II Timothy 2:15 in mind, members of Beverly Manor Missionary Baptist Church were convicted of the need of a training station for preachers.”
Illinois Baptist College was not accredited.
