As of June 30, 2021, the University of Phoenix moved all of its instruction to online and ceased operation as an independent degree-granting institution of higher education in the state of Illinois. The University of Phoenix main campus, located in Phoenix, Arizona, remains open. The University is currently teaching out its locations in five different states.
The University of Phoenix is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). For accreditation questions, please visit HLC’s homepage at www.hlcommission.org and select "find accredited institutions" for accreditation or email info@hlcommission.org.
Students can continue to request transcripts through the University. Students seeking transcripts can order an official transcript through their student portal or through the National Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Center at tsorder.studentclearinghouse.org.
