On December 17, 2018, Vatterott College located in Fairview Heights, Illinois announced its immediate closure as part of a national closure of Vatterott Educational Centers, Inc. On October 30, 2018, Vatterott College located in Quincy, Illinois, completed teach out and the campus officially closed.

Vatterott Educational Centers has engaged Parchment to be the official record provider for all Vatterott issued credentials, including transcripts, diplomas, degree verifications, and enrollment verifications.
This includes student records from Court Reporting Institute, L'Ecole Culinaire, Vatterott Career College, Vatterott College, Vatterott College ex'treme Institute, and Vatterott Education Center Dallas.
As of April 15, 2019, orders may be placed by students and alumni on Parchment's website using www.parchment.com/u/registration/47292/institution after creating an account, students will have the ability to send transcripts and other records electronically or by mail to destinations worldwide.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Visit studentaid.gov/manage-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/closed-school to evaluate the eligibility requirements for discharge of Federal Direct Loans, Federal Family Education Loans (FFEL) Program loans, or Federal Perkins Loans. This information does not apply to non-federal student loans. For those loans, please contact lenders directly for options and to understand repayment obligations.
Students who attended a school who believe they were defrauded or that their school otherwise violated applicable state law may be eligible for discharge (loan forgiveness). Please visit studentaid.gov/borrower-defense for assistance.

The Illinois Attorney General’s office created the Student Loan Helpline (1-800-455-2456; TTY: 1-800-964- 3013) to provide struggling student borrowers with free resources about repayment options and information on avoiding default. Borrowers can also call to file consumer complaints regarding issues with the billing and servicing of their loans.
